[OOC] Rules and Organization
Rules.
Adhere to basic written RP etiquette. That is, use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. If you must use HTML in your posts, make sure it's not broken. Put any potentially offensive, upsetting or downright triggering material behind a cut. Tag your entries accordingly.
Be polite to other players. Disagreements are bound to come up and your mod encourages you to speak up if something is bothering you, but you must remain civil at all times. There is a difference between criticisms and open attacks. Your mod encourages the former and abhors the latter. If you need this difference explained to you, your mod will explain it to you. Along with a warning, if you continue to not understand said difference.
Godmodding is a bannable offense. Godmodding is defined as taking control of someone else's character without their explicit permission. If you godmod a character, and the mun submits proof of it to the mod, you will be banned. End of story. No buts. No ifs.
Bullying is also a bannable offense. For the purposes of
labyrinthrpg, bullying is defined as deliberate, repeated and hostile abuse. Criticism on how a character is played, no matter how blunt or harsh is not bullying. The occasional secret submitted to
roleplaysecrets is not bullying. However, a consistent trend of abuse - via HMDs, PMs, AIM, secrets, etc - with the intent to push someone out of the community is bullying and will not be tolerated. Your mod is aware that most of this takes place outside of the game itself and she doesn't pretend to moderate the internet at large. But if a player submits proof of repeated abuse and the culprit is caught, they will be banned. Again, no buts, no ifs.
Activity Check is mandatory. Every month, a post will come up in
labyrinthooc. You must reply to it submitting the proofs detailed here. Character squatting will not be tolerated.
Have fun. Your mod wants nothing more than for you to enjoy yourselves and feel comfortable in the game. If you have any questions, concerns, worries or complaints, please direct those to the Mod Inbox and they will be dealt with as swiftly as possible.
Organization.
labyrinthrpg is also known ICly as the Wall, the network where all posts using the Rock are made. That's any [video], [text] or [audio/voice] post your character makes, as well as the occasional [action] tag. Please make your Mod's life easier and tag all entries your character is involved in, be it commenting or posting.
labyrinthlogs is, as its name implies, our log community. Prose or action tag logs are meant to be posted there. Please follow the templates and tag your entries accordingly. Any content rated R or higher - for any reason, be it violence or sex - should be locked to the community.
labyrinthooc is the home of any OOC intros, hiatus/slowatus/drop notices. Events and general plotting will also be placed here, along with any important announcements and the monthly AC.
labyrinthsillies is our spam/crack community and where memes and anything that doesn't belong in the main three comms should be posted.
labyrinthspirit is the main Mod journal: rules, premise, setting, lists and the like are all found here, indexed at the Navigation page. It is also the Spirit's NPC journal, and will occasionally make posts in the Wall, as well as answer comments in the various communities.
labyrinthsylph is the secondary Mod journal, it has admin status in all four communities and will occasionally be used to reply to comments and posts, much the same way as
labyrinthspirit. But who is the Sylph, ICly? Your guess is as good as any...
labyrinthnpc is the combined NPC journal, set for Villagers, Monsters and other NPCs that become necessary as the plot of the game advances.
